And it's... INTERCEPTED

Off the name of this podcast, I would have assumed that "Intercepted" had to do with sports. This podcast is the complete opposite of that! It is a political podcast hosted by Jeremy Scahill. Jeremy is an investigative journalist. He is the journalist behind the website theintercept.com. The podcast is a commentary-style podcast where he has special guests and they talk about topics like U.S. foreign policy, national security, and government surveillance. I found this podcast really interesting because you don't see many podcasts talking about topics like that. It's usually what's going on in politics, but this is a different side of politics that doesn't get that much attention. The podcast encourages accountability, transparency, and social justice within the government. It also encourages its listeners to be activists for these things. It is a thought-provoking podcast that tackles important issues that don't get enough attention and brings it to light for its listeners.

As someone relatively new to podcasts, it is one that I occasionally like to put on. What about you? Do you listen to or like the "Intercepted" podcast?
